Mountain View Hotel

Under new management. Room reservation phone call was friendly. Busy place, so reserve a room as early as you can. Very clean and modern looking room. The rooms are a little small but cozy. Beds are comfortable with very nice bedding. Also, the free access to the huge pool & gym across the street is a huge bonus. A little over the top, but I'm always interested in how clean the bed, carpet, and around the toilet are with the black light. Everything checked out VERY, VERY, clean except one spot behind the toilet. The center outside door could use some adjustment, so it soft closes. I would highly recommend staying here.

It's all about excellent customer service, and keeping the guests happy at this hidden gem hotel in Killdeer, North Dakota. The rooms are large and comfortable, including not only the expected amenities like fridge and microwave, but nice little homey touches like an early hot breakfast (starting at 4am!), free fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, pizza and personal laundry service at a very reasonable price! Also they throw inaccess to the aquatic center & gym next door. Staff is friendly and Deborah in particular is a sweetheart. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

After a long drive all day. We were looking forward to just resting for the night. Arrived late the night lady helped us she was very helpful. The service for our stay was outstanding. With it being in a small town and not being a big chain hotel wasnt sure how good it was. Our stay was amazing. Highly suggest staying here its a hidden gem in town. The rooms are small but for 1 night it was amazing! Pool and workout facility off site accross the parking lot shared with the city looked huge. They offer breakfast the next morning 3am-8am wake up early its totally worth it!! A very nice breakfast!

I usually don’t like older hotels but this place was great. The breakfast was simple yet tasty. Would definitely recommend. Also…. We had an issue with the payment for my room and the Hotel manager worked promptly to get it fixed!

We stayed here for two nights and had a very nice stay. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Nice little breakfast area and free cookies after 5pm. :) We also got free day passes to the weight room and swimming pool next door! Only issue we had was internet not working in rooms. It did work for us in lobby.

We stayed here for Twin Buttes Powwow. It was just what we needed after a long drive. Beds were cozy, clean, but the staff was the most notable for us. Sendy went over and above for me! I had forgot my blanket in the room after check out and she took the time out of her busy busy schedule to mail it to me. This is a type of kindness and customer service I have not experienced anywhere else. She even paid for the shipping. She and her staff deserve raises for their willingness to go over and above for our stay.

This was our best motel on our pedal bike across the state! Rooms were clean, up to date, (and even had complimentary snacks). Breakfast included homemade biscuits and gravy! The staff was excellent. You could tell they loved their job and took pride in their work. Others we stop at will have a hard time matching this gem!

Great clean rooms, they'll service them when needed. If you need something, the staff will make it happen always friendly and helpful and it's right across the street from the gym and the hotel supplies free passes for it. I seriously prefer this over the newer hotel in town I can't say enough good things about mountain view.
